Smokey Bear Welton… well what can I say? Loyal friend, never met a stranger, loved to chase his ball. He was my very best friend. Cancer stole his zest for life. Today I had to release you into the arms of Jesus. All dogs go to heaven so I know I’ll see you again.

In Loving Memory of Gilbert In the brief span of less than two years, a tiny feline soul graced our lives and left an indelible mark on our hearts. Today, we gather here to remember and honor the life of Gilbert, a beloved member of our family. Though his time with us was far too short, the love and joy he brought will forever linger in our hearts. Gilbert was more than just a cat; he was a ray of sunshine on even the darkest of days. His inquisitive nature led him on endless adventures, but his true passion lay in the simple pleasures of life. Gilbert was a master fly-catcher, an artful observer of people, and a playful chaser of his dear brother Norman. His boundless energy and curiosity were a testament to the vibrant spirit that dwelled within him. But Gilbert's zest for life wasn't limited to action alone; he was also a connoisseur of snacks. Whether it was a tempting treat or a bit of string cheese, his eyes would light up, and he'd pounce with delight. In those moments, we couldn't help but chuckle at his unabashed enthusiasm for life's little indulgences. After all the excitement of the day, Gilbert found his ultimate solace in his cozy bed. Nestled in his favorite spot, he would drift into peaceful slumber, a picture of contentment and serenity. It was during these quiet moments that we could truly appreciate the profound sense of trust and love he shared with us. Gilbert, you were more than just a pet; you were a cherished companion, a source of laughter, and a reminder of the beauty in the simple things in life. Your departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but your memory will continue to bring warmth and smiles to our hearts. Though you left us far too soon, we are grateful for the time we had together. You may have been with us for less than two years, but the love you brought into our lives is everlasting. As we say our goodbyes, we take solace in the knowledge that you are now chasing butterflies and basking in the eternal sunshine of a world without pain or sorrow. Rest in peace, dear Gilbert. You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten. Thank you for gracing us with your presence and for the profound love you shared with us. Until we meet again, may you find endless joy and comfort in the land of eternal dreams.
